- IPTLD Quality-of-Life Study with Liberty IRB 2010 to present
- Submission of IPT Quality-of-Life Study to New England IRB in 2009
- Submission of the first IPT Quality-of-Life Study to Gateway Foundation in 2008
- Best Case Series with National Cancer Institute and Office of Cancer Complementary and Alternative Medicine (ongoing)
Patient Care:
- Established Patient Fundraising Pages Project: patients create web pages soliciting funds for treatments
- Established The Hugh J. Welter Memorial Fund to receive donations for those in need of treatment who apply to the Foundation for assistance.
- Initiated a searchable Patient Database Project for BACF in 2007
- We have ongoing patient coach and advocate services

- The Gratitude Book Project: Celebrating 365 Days of Gratitude, 2010
- The Kinder, Gentler Cancer Treatment, 2009
- Creation of the International Organization of Integrative Physicians (IOIP) in 2007
- Production of annual conferences since 2006
Advocacy and Collaboration:
- Attendance at 2011 Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer
- Collaboration with the Annie Appleseed Project
- Implementation of the BACF Patient/Survivor Center in 2008
